Had a very eventful weekend. I saw Monster's Ball with Hale Berry and Billy Bob Thornton on Friday. I actually liked it for what it was - a well written story with great editing and decent character development. I dug the music too. The setting was a weird nostalgic vision of the South. Anyway, I don't recommend it highly - but if you'd like to feel morbid, go check it out.

I met with the FluxCore gang on Saturday. We are already making plans for our next show scheduled to proceed in May. It was a little intense because there was about fifteen of us at the meeting. The group dynamics were so diverse - we had business and "structured" folks at one end of the spectrum and free flowing artists on the other end. I could definately see some head-butting in the future, but I truly believe that we balance each other our in this collective. We all went to Anonymous Federated after the meeting - it was a very design-filled day....yay!

On Sunday I met with my Adler Planetarium team to discuss new storyboards for our Astrobiology game. Things are looking good so far this semester with my team. I really enjoyed working on class stuff while having a beer.

Check out Anonymous Federated this Saturday at the Smart Bar [3730 N. Clark] from 7:00-10:00pm.

Charles Forman of SetPixel will be discussing his work.

Support the scene. This is a great way to mingle with other local designers, check out great work, and elude cover charge for Smart Bar.

Hello. I am sitting in Tiffany's house once again discussing team crap. I think we got some stuff done tonight. It just seems like we keep talking around in circles. I can't believe I am missing Janet Jackson in concert on cable for this stuff.

Oh Kayee Ron, WHUTEVR! Anywayz, yeah, we're here. This is teammate numero once. It does suck in the sense that we are trying to determine what we need to do for our game and we are being led by thee BUHLIND! So yeah, LINK ME UP RON! Sounds like Scotty beam me up. At least, we are trying. There is half of us present and another who called and discussed with us. That's more than 50% of the team on a Sunday. Oaky, you can link me up another day, I'm not ready for it today. I agree with numero 2 y 1024, what is the point of the class assignments? HELLLOOOOO? Is it for us or the TEECHER?

Hola!
i {Randall} am at TIffany's house right now.....wow, tiffany is a good Bartender..... well i've been here about 5 hours! wow! anyway we even missed the simpson, that's how we were into this lovely TEAM meeting! yes yes yes ninja ninja ninja!
Que Pasa ?? Way to link it all up Ron!! Furry Furry Furry! Shrimp from the shrimp farmis seperated like a buttox. Weird. Can't we all just do this adler thing and quit squabbling? Tif goes to make another round of buttery nipples

Got back to Chicago in a daze! I was still in Mardis Gras mode. I tried to shake it off by the time of the show this past friday, but I was still pretty out of it. I need a couple of weeks to recover from New Orleans.

FeLia was fabulous. It was a great turn-out. I was shocked. I knew there would be some people, but I didn't know that they were going to be a bunch of strangers. That's the greatest feeling - when strangers come to check out your exhibition.

Greetings from Mardis Gras! I am such a trooper! I've managed to be intoxicated for 48 hours straight! Pat on the back for me! I am writing this in a cyber cafe in the French Quarter called Bastille - neato-

Erin and I are about to go to the second biggest parade today called "Baccus" or is it "Bachus"? I am not really sure about the spelling - all I know is that it is named after the Roman god of wine.

The strippers here are great!
Love,
Ron
