My team, A.L.F.A. Squad [Alien Life Form Artists], presented Planet X today in class. I had to do the introductions. As usual, I got really nervous and missed some keys points. But I think it went pretty well -- at least people told me it went welll -- just like people told me the presentation at the Museum of Contemporary Art went well. When I speak in front of people, I just get lost in the moment and then it's over and I know nothing much of what happened. Anyway, today was the first milestone of the week. Now time for a final exam on the Middle East, a final presentation [web component] of The Veil (actually, it's version 1 of the web component of The Veil, but my teacher doesn't know that), final touches to my DVD project, and a perfect performance of my monologue for acting class! Phew!!! I NEED a vacation!

Team update:::Kelly and I did user testing at this elementary school in Evanston today. We had a bunch of first graders play our astrobiology game. I got a kick out of them getting a kick out of the special effects, especially the space ship detachment sequence that was done by Tommy in Maya. Kids are awesome. They really release a lot of unnecessary tension we put ourselves through.

I saw Spiderman today. It totally rocked. I am going to see it again. Great special effects, great cast, great costumes, and a fairly decent plot. No wonder it is doing so well in the box office. A superhero is a good thing to see at the movies during these weary times, especially if it's played by Tobi McGuire. I am a big Kerstin Dunst fan too -- ever since she played Claudia in Interview with a Vampire. Anyway, hooray for the friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

I went to Reaction at Columbia College last night. It was alright. It was a bit disorganized, especially the collaboration piece that Corona and I were working on. Or more like, the installation piece Corona was working on that was accompanied by my interactive. Well, whatever is was, it was disorganized. Oh well, I am ranting. I guess I've become spoiled with team work, troubleshooting and just an overall good vibe while planning for an event.

Ugh!! Three more grueling weeks left of college life! I can't wait to get the hell out! I am going bananas with my work load. This is the busiest I've ever been in my life and I don't like it. I feel like I've knocked off a couple of years from my lifespan! I can't imagine being this busy working after graduation!
