Is it me? Or is the internet just the optimum of time suckage?

Wassup y'all? Man, what a dreary Sunday this is here in Chicago. Signs of fall making me feel mellow. I have to wake up and get into gear for this Park West show I am participating in on October 3rd called "Rock the Runway". Pressure is on, man. All the other artists involved backed out and I feel like I am the only trooper left on this project. Guess I should stop thinking about how hard it's going to be and just start producing. Like I mentioned before, I waste a lot of time thinking about things when I should be doing them. More later.

::::::::::::::::::Oh, by the way, check out this artist [Huong Ngo]. She is totally amazing. I am so honored that she participated in our TURN ON Show last Saturday. You go Huong! I really admire your work.

This writer from New City must be a lush. It seemed like all he was concerned about was the lack of liquor at our TURN ON show last Saturday. Why don't you read the article? I guess this is evidence of what takes precedence in the Chicago art scene. Gotta give 'em alcohol so they could appreciate the freakin' art!

This is my September 11 blog entry. Gosh, the attacks seem like so long ago, but it has only been two years. I was in New York City this past May and I did not even visit Ground Zero. I heard that there was not much to see there. Only vendors selling memorabilia of the events from two years ago, which I think is pretty tacky and horrible. Like I said before, we seem to be a culture that forgets things pretty fast. I guess today would be a good day to acknowledge and appreciate all things important in my life, like my health and my friends and family. And if there was any day that I would have to be forced not to take everything so seriously, it would be today, because you can be gone in a heartbeat. Never forget September 11, 2001.

Hey! Just got back from the Fluxcore TURN ON Show and I had a blast. OK, forget about the bad things I said about preparing for it. I guess I was just really emotional and all just because this is possibly our last Fluxcore show. We are taking a veeeeery loooong break. We need to venture out on our own and improve our individual craft. We really worked hard tonight - together. It was a great show. If it is our last, then I could honestly say that we went out with a bang. Thanks guys - and thank you all out there for supporting us for the last two years. It's been great. Gosh - this sounds too much like a goodbye. Say it ain't so.

Whoah, I can't believe the 'TURN ON' Show is already tomorrow. I am relieved. This has not really been a fun show to prepare for. I guess my mind was elsewhere. I just didn't feel the love that the old Fluxcore shows used to have while preparing for a show. I didn't feel like this show was a collaborative effort. Oh well. I am looking forward to my individual projects this coming fall. I need some time off! Can't wait till New Orleans and Brazil.
